Rio Ferdinand is expected to return to the England defence for Wednesday's Euro 2008 qualifier in Macedonia.
Ferdinand missed Saturday's 5-0 win against Andorra with a toe injury. The Manchester United defender trained on Monday at England's base in Watford before flying to Skopje with the squad. The 27-year-old would replace Wes Brown in the centre of Steve McClaren's defence.
McClaren said: "Rio took part in and came through the full training session with no problems. We expect him to be fine to train again in Macedonia on Tuesday and that's great news."
