McClaren needs Beckham
With Steven Gerrard injured England need David Beckham. Even though his services would be a welcome boost, it is unlikely that Steve McClaren will recall the former England Captain. It appears that the current England boss is not prepared to lose face over his decison to axe the current Real Madrid star. Instead England will go into Wedensdays game determined to win the fixture after yesterdays blank against FYR of Macedonia.
Pressure will building within the English camp and if a win is not secured on wedensday questions will need to be answered. McClaren also faces the prospect of being further questioned over his refusal to recall David Beckham and the strong rummors that the England squad held a meeting regarding team formations. If England dont defeat Craotia, the currnet England boss may find his tenure short lived at FA HQ.
