Pressure on Bordeaux - Zenden
Liverpool star Bolo Zenden believes the pressure is on Bordeaux to maintain their Champions League participation on Wednesday night.
The Dutchman could well figure in Liverpool's starting line-up as a hamstring injury has ruled out Steven Gerrard from the Group C clash. Bordeaux are bottom of the group without a goal while Liverpool are top on four points knowing another win will dramatically increase their chances of qualifying for the next stage of the tournament.
And Zenden said: "As far as this group goes, this is a very important match. Bordeaux need a result after the way they have started. This is a difficult group with teams very strong at home, so the pressure is on Bordeaux to go for a victory."
