Chelsea and England midfielder Frank Lampard insists his stunning goal against Barcelona was inspired by training-ground practice.
Lampard curled the ball into the net from a seemingly impossible angle to put Chelsea on equal terms against Barca in their heated 2-2 Champions League draw at the Nou Camp on Tuesday night.
But the Chelsea ace reveals that solitary training exercises at the club's Cobham HQ was the inspiration behind his success. Lampard said: "Sometimes I do it as a bit of fun, but it is a test of your skill and I practise shooting from all angles and with both feet. Millions of times I have done that and missed the target and then it comes good."
