Johnson: I want to join Everton
Everton looked to have landed their man after Andrew Johnson declared his intention to move from Crystal Palace to Goodison Park.
Palace had agreed a fee of 8.5million with Everton, Bolton and Wigan, but 25-year-old Johnson has spoken with Toffees officials and should complete his move this week.
Johnson told www.evertonfc.com: "After several days of careful consideration, I have decided that my footballing future lies at Goodison Park with Everton."
