Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson believes Bolton boss Sam Allardyce has an outstanding chance' of becoming the next England manager.
The Bolton manger has achieved great success at the Reebok, as well as becoming a fans favourite, and United boss Sir Alex, relishes his success.
"I think he has got an absolutely outstanding chance, without question. He's got experience and you can't ignore the job he has done at Bolton. If you're looking at criteria of success at a football club, then it's there."
Ferguson's men travel to Bolton on Saturday, for what promises to be another classic Premiership game. Sir Alex believes that if United drop points, Chelsea will take the title further away from their hands.
"It could be a pivotal weekend if Chelsea were to drop points. Football is such an extraordinary game and so full of surprises, you just never know. That is why I have said all along we want to be closest to Chelsea if they do collapse," added the Scot.
