Unlikely hero Stuart Parnaby put a dent in Bolton's European charge with an injury time winner for Middlesbrough in a seven-goal thriller.

Defender Radhi Jaidi looked to have snatched a point for Wanderers nine minutes from time as Boro squandered a 3-1 lead, but Parnaby ensured the points stayed on Teesside with his late strike.

Stelios Giannakopoulos had given the visitors the lead before Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's 14th and 15th goals of the season either side of a Mark Viduka strike put Boro in the driving seat, but Jay-Jay Okocha's 57th-minute finish restored hope for Bolton.
