Manchester United striker Ruud Van Nistelrooy today dismissed rumours regarding him being unhappy at the club.

The rumours come after Van Nistelrooy has been repeatedly left on the bench in favour of French star Louis Saha.

To make matters worse for the Dutch star, Saha has been firing in the goals and was the Carling Cup's top scorer.

A number of European clubs have reportedly been interested in the striker, amongst them are Spanish giants Real Madrid, and Internazionale.

"It's an absolute nonsense. I want to play out my contract," said Van Nistelrooy who is unlikely to start against Birmingham today.
