Mido wants to stay at Spurs

Tottenham striker Mido insists he wants to remain at White Hart Lane when his loan expires this summer but has not ruled out a return to Roma.

The Egypt international's agent Mino Raiola claimed last week other clubs are ahead of Spurs in the race to sign the player from the Serie A side.

The Barclays Premiership side have yet to agree a deal with Roma to sign Mido permanently and the forward told Sky Sports News: "Obviously, officially I belong to Roma after this season so we're still talking and we'll see what happens. But to be honest I want to stay and I'm happy here. I'm not thinking about other clubs."
