Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood says that he is still unsure of whether star player Thierry Henry will stay at the club.

Henry has one remaining year on his current contract with the Gunners and has yet to sign a new deal with the club and has delayed talks until the summer. The Frenchman's current situation has fueled strong links to a move away from London with Barcelona the favourites for his signature. Hill-Wood retains optimism that the 28-year-old will stay with Arsenal but concedes that he has no idea of the players plans and that it is not in his hands.

"We haven't got a clue what he wants to do," Hill-Wood told Sky Sports News. The chairman cannot have help matters by saying "He's slightly moody too. Some days he's up, some days he's down. He has a wonderful life in London and gets very well paid. We hope he decides to stay with us, but I haven't got any more idea than you have." The chairman conceded that it would be impossible to replace the influential captain, "I think he's irreplaceable, but we're fine, we'll manage."
