Champions Chelsea are reportedly close to wrapping up deals for wonderkids Carlos Tevez, from Corinthians and Salomon Kalou from Feyenoord.

Mourinho flew out to Brazil this week to watch Tevez play for Corinthians and is hoping to bring the Argentine to Stamford Bridge. The Corinthian's supremo instantly denied that the Chelsea boss was interested claiming he was 'on holiday' which seems odd as the Blues' campaign is yet to finish! Mourinho himself confessed to searching for players in Brazil but refused to comment on Tevez. "People can say what they like, but there are 22 players in this match worth watching," he said.

Corinthans owner Kia Joorabchian refuses to speculate a player but a supposedly iminant £35 million offer may be too good to refuse. "He's 22-years-old, the best player in South America and one of the best players in the world." said Joorabchian. "There's no point naming a price as he's not for sale,". The Kalou deal is more likely as a £3 million bid could be all is needed, however the player is still trying to claim a Dutch citizenship and may need another 18 months in Holland. If this is the case Chelsea would look to loan him back to Rotterdam for as long as it takes for him to secure his passport.
