Arsene Wenger described Arsenal's performance against CSKA Moscow "the best we have played in Champions League since I've been at the club" despite the match ending in a goalless draw at the Emirates Stadium.

Wenger celebrated 10 years in charge of Arsenal just over a month ago and his team reached the final of the competition last season. But they passed up one gilt-edged opportunity after another against the side which beat them 1-0 in Moscow two weeks ago and are now in danger of failing to reach the first knockout stage.

"People will feel frustrated by the result but for me it is the best in the Champions League we have played since I've been here," Wenger said.
