Former Arsenal manager Terry Neill has criticised Arsene Wenger for reacting to Alan Pardew's celebrations during West Ham's 1-0 win over the Gunners at Upton Park.

Arsenal boss Wenger and opposite number Pardew had to be separated following Marlon Harewood's 89th-minute winner which saw the Hammers climb out of the Barclays Premiership drop zone. Neill, who was boss at Highbury from 1976 to 1983, attended Sunday's game in which Wenger also snubbed Pardew's post-match handshake.

"I like both managers, I think of both of them as very good friends, and I've got say I was disappointed with Arsene," Neill said on BBC Radio Five Live. "I would have though he would have been bigger than the reaction he showed."
