Ronaldo made his first start for Real tonight against Celta Vigo. The Brazilian looked very fit and it seemed that the former World player of the year had lost a considerable amount of weight. 

The Brazilian star was a constant threat throughout the game and was unlucky not to score on his first start of the campagn. Celta took the lead in the first half following a mistake from Emerson, however the Brazilian midfielder made up for his mistake by heading home the equalising goal. However even though Real were the more impressive side Celta snatched the victory with ten minutes remaining following a mistake from Ryes. David Beckham was introduced with twenty five minutes remaining. The big question for Cappelo is why he started Gutti who did little throughout the game.Gutti was slow to every tackle and was always giving the ball away.
