President Joan Laporta is looking forward to what he described as "a great final between the two teams that have played the best football in Europe this season. "His side will now meet Arsenal in the Stade de France in Paris in their fifth final in the competition.
Speaking on his side's semi-final victory over Milan, Laporta added "I would like to congratulate the players and the coaches for the quality shown. It will be a great final against Arsenal and I'm sure our supporters will set an example behaving respectfully in Paris.
The President refused to discuss the possible arrival of Arsenal striker Thierry Henry in the Summer, as well as the resignation of Real Madrid President Fernando Martin, instead concluding simply "I am happy that those celebrating tonight are the fans of Barcelona."
