On loan Eygptian striker Mido is facing heartbreak, for his heart lies at Tottenham but Spurs are not willing to pay the whacked up price for him. The 6ft 2 forward is coming to the end of his 18 month loan to Tottenham and is desperate to join the Spurs but their interest has cooled after AS Roma put up their 4 million pound transder fee to 6 million. 

Midowho has been struggling with knee and groin injuries, which has ruled him out of Tottenhams last three games, and his fitness is still a concern for boss Jol. The 23-yr-old is prone to putting on weight easily and Spurs want to be sure that if they do sign him then he will not lose any motivation after getting a permanant deal.
