Wengers rage at Jol
Angry Arsene Wenger last night branded Tottenham manager Martin Jol "a liar". The two were seen to have a touchline tiff because of Tottenhams 60th minute goal which Arsenal head coach Wenger thourght to be "unsportsman like and a cheaters goal". The two were also heard trading insults at the end of the last ever London derby at Highbury. The draw gives Tottenham Hotspur a huge advantage in the race for fourth place and the final champions league spot.
Arsenal could see Tottenham out of the champions league without beating them in the race for fourth place. If the gunners beat Villareal and then win in the final of the champions league this year Tottenham will have to play Uefa cup football instead of champions league football and Arsenal will take the last champions league place allocated to the English football leagues. Tottenham have already stated they will appeal against that rule should it come into effect.
