Rooney "devastated" by ban
Wayne Rooney described himself as "devastated" with his three-match ban from the Football Association for his red card in a pre-season friendly.
The England striker scored twice and made another as Manchester United cruised to a 5-1 defeat of Fulham at Old Trafford, but the 20-year-old will miss the next three games after picking up a red card against Porto in a pre-season tournament in Amsterdam.
And he said: "I was devastated with the ban, especially with the start we've had."
