Roy Keane expects Manchester United to win against another of his former clubs, Celtic, in the Champions League on Wednesday. The Irishman thinks that the Red Devils have the edge in what will be a fascinating all-British contest. He did, however, warn the Manchester United players against over-confidence.

He told BBC's Radio Five Live, "When I retired, I felt United would get Celtic in the Champions League this year, people should not underestimate Celtic but United seem to be in the groove and should win."

Manchester United have already faced Celtic this year for Keane's testimonial match at Old Trafford in June. The home team won the game 1-0 with Keane himself setting up the winning goal for Christiano Ronaldo. Now the Irishman has other things on his mind having taken over the reins at Sunderland.

Keane had hoped that former assistant manager at Manchester United, Brian Kidd would join his staff at the Stadium of Light but Kidd has chosen to join Neil Warnock at Sheffield United instead. The fitness of new arrival Dwight Yorke is another thing troubling Keane and the World Cup star will not start against Leeds on Wednesday night.
